Facts and stuff...

BIG PROBLEM - SHOWER DOOR IS BROKEN - PLEASE READ THIS

The bottom rollers on the shower door have broken so it is just hanging from the top. It's fully useable but you just need to be very careful when opening and closing. Also the toilet seat is a bit dodgy too so just be wary of that.

FRONT DOOR LOCK - this is important

There is a problem with the top door lock… this is odd so bear with me… put the key in (I know I know) and turn it half circle clock wise… then half back and out. Easy huh? If you turn it full circle back and out you might lock yourself in… it’s a weird one I know, I’ll get the lock changed someday :-) Please lock bottom lock when leaving.

TV/DVD

TV is hooked up to Virgin Media so all good there. There is also a DVD player so feel free to use and there are some good crappie DVDs there (in the chest/coffee table) so feel free to contribute - only cheap ones allowed.
TV is on AV1 and DVD on HDMI1. Virgin Media also has Movies on Demand to if you use just leave the money somewhere separate to the cleaners money like upstairs in the silver tray with a lid. The code for this is 1234

Plants and Court Yard

PLEASE water the plants in the court yard, and, if you notice that it's full of leaves a quick sweep would be appreciated.

Internet & Laptop

There is WiFi installed and there is a laptop down there in the cupboard under the TV – feel free to use it, use the guest login. If you take your own computer email me for the pass key or take a look at the Virgin booklet in the same cupboard.

Music

There is a nice little Bose CD/radio which has an iPod connector – and there are some CD's down there in the chest/coffee table. 'Juice' is a good radio station, quite gay though (LOL). USB connector to charge iPhone/iPod is in bowl on the table or in the cutlery drawer.

Rubbish

Rubbish is not picked up and there are big black bins outside the Co-op around the corner where you can dispose of it. IF THERE ARE NO BIN LINERS - go and get some... takes 50 litre bags.

Heating

Timer/switch is on the wall under the stairs and we haven’t worked out the timer yet but just open the flap and switch to manual when you want it on. Please turn it off at the stairs when you leave.

Cleaner Service

The cleaner will come in after you go and do all the surfaces in the kitchen/bathroom and dust/vacuum. Just strip the bed(s) as she will take the sheets but don't make them up - she will do that. Just leave the house tidy please and leave the money somewhere obvious.

If you feel the need to clean anything then help yourself to the cooker, windows and bathroom/kitchen floors :-)

Towels

Please take your own towels.

Beach

There is a self inflating mattress under the stairs which is great for sitting on the stones at the beach. There is also a cool bag under there as well for keeping your champagne chilled.

DishWasher

Odd one this, our big plates don’t fit the dishwasher, you’ll have to wash by hand or put in on a lean.
I found if you put them on the left hand side it's OK but check the thingy goes round.
Don't leave the dishwasher on when you leave.

Bathroom

The tap in the basin leaks a bit so turn it to cold (right) and this usually stops it but it is getting worse.
There are PLENTY of shower gels, shampoos, conditioners, (few) mouth washs and a bath salts stolen from around the word so feel free to use these.

Oven

If this is off turn it on at the wall and the Clock will blink. Reset this by pressing the two (of six) buttons on the left hand side (Timer and Cook) and then the + or – to change the time, then the oven will come on

Cooking

There are the basics there – 3 pots, fry pan, oven tray, wok, serving/cooking spoons, chopping boards, cutlery, cups, glases, wine glasses (ah ha!!), champagne glases (oh yeah), cafetiere, sharp knifes, grater, cork screw (yeah!) – that’s about it... oh, and 4 egg cups...
Just bought a coffee grinder so take some fresh beans down - for the cafetiere it's best on the 'fine' setting.
If you use the oven can you give it a quick wipe out please?

Keys

There are spare keys down there on the mantle piece but none of the neighbours have them yet so be careful.
