I've been there twice and the Sunday lunch is good. Recently went there early evening and the chilli was shite and the chip (french frys) were disgusting.

Fantastic new management and menu...
Has really gone for the classy cliental and the food is delicious - a bit on the nouveau side and averagely priced so good value I think. The meal was slow in coming but they compensated with free wine. Will deffo go again next time we are there. |

This is a nice small cheapy Italian with great food and not expensive. I'm not sure if you can book but if you don't get there early you'll be put downstairs (not been down there but they send people to have a look and they sometime come straight back up). |

Really nice looking pub put always full of people. The food looks really good but everytime we go there there is no where to sit. Get there early.
Update: We went there about 5:30 on Saturday night so was quite empty but the food really was averagely good, and pub prices - would go again.

FORGET IT!!!
Alison and Lynn went here and said it was rubbish. After complaints about the food they had one refunded and took the steak back for Lynns dog Harvey as this was preferable to eating it.

AVOID LIKE HERPES
Lynn, Martin and I went, Martin's meal was fine, Lynn's was like catfood and mine was rank. I sent mine back and was billed for it so I made them take it off and also the service charge. The untrained 'manager' preceeded to tell me the protocol for sending food back - he didn't last long in the arguement and stood there behind the till sulking and glaring at us.
Never ever going back!!!
Oh, and the wine was shit - we tried 2 different bottles. |
